Child care centre visit checklist
Use this checklist when you contact a child care centre. The listings come from a dated public dataset, so confirm current details with the centre.
How we calculated this
This checklist records whether you have asked six practical questions. It does not rate a centre or verify its answers.
The directory uses a snapshot of the BC Child Care Map dataset. Confirm current licensing, services, availability, hours and fees with the source or the centre.
Your yes-or-no answers appear in the result URL so you can share the checklist. Do not add personal details.
Method checked on 2026-11-05.
This checklist is for planning a conversation. It does not verify licensing, availability, fees or quality. Confirm details with the centre and the provincial source.
Questions
- Does this checklist tell me which centre to choose?
- No. It helps you collect the same current details from each centre. Your family's needs and the centre's direct answers matter.
- Are the answers checked by DaycareMap?
- No. The result URL includes your yes-or-no answers, but it cannot verify the centre's statements. Do not add personal details. Confirm facts with the centre and the BC Child Care Map source.
